Southwest Sunshine

The wintery scenes that come across my screen remind me that it is winter… somewhere. Thank you, to the photographers who have shared winter wonder dreams from across the northern hemisphere. I cannot offer you any of those photos, but I can offer a sampling of southwest sunshine to those who need to shake off the cold.

For another seasonal southwestern share, check out my post, “Desert Blooms” – a late spring post that highlighted blooms from the southwest region of the U.S. Thank you for visiting and viewing. Be well. 💗 Michele

    1. It is my pleasure. I am cleaning up photo files and thought I would share a few. I have so many I’ve never shared. 😄 How lovely. I think crisp, cold, and sunshine is a wonderful combination. It was crisp here this morning after a night of rare rain. Delightful!

    1. Thank you, Brad. I do my best to have my camera with me when I am on the road. I have pulled over many times to capture a gorgeous sunset. How wonderful to be surrounded by trees, but they do block the view. We love them though, and our planet needs more of them! When I was in the Cascades during the summer, I missed seeing the sunrises and sunsets. A fine trade though, being surrounded by all that beautiful nature. 💚

    1. Thank you so much! I am happy to share some sunshine – hopefully the scenes warmed you up a bit. 😁 I like the four seasons, but yes, an actual winter can be a challenge. I lived in Denver for two years, several years ago, and barely survived those wintery days. 😆 Stay safe and warm! ❄

  5. Dear Michele,

I love sunsets and sunrises, they are like inner dawns and dusks marking our condition, awakening for something new on the horizon of our own development.

Thanks for sharing, my friend and have a great time 🙂
    Hugs and love
