Tonto Natural Bridge State Park

from the state parks website:

Tonto Natural Bridge State Park is located in central Arizona near Payson*. It is believed to be the largest natural travertine bridge in the world. The bridge stands 183 feet high over a 400-foot long tunnel that measures 150 feet at its widest point. There are three hiking trails, a picnic area, and a group use area. The park provides habitat for animals, insects, and birds as well as Interpretive exhibits including artifacts on the history of Tonto Natural Bridge, plus information about travertine, prehistoric inhabitants, and the historic Goodfellow Lodge. 1. Absolutely yes! 🥰 If you’ve never been, Arizona’s high mountain country is beautiful and cooler than the Sonoran Desert region of the state. Thank you for viewing, Krissy. I am so glad you enjoyed it. I love your poetic videos. 💖

      1. Wonderful life and photographic goals! If you do, be sure to add the Grand Canyon to your list. Absolutely majestic, if you’ve never been. If you have, once is not enough! Ha! Timeless Seuss. 👏🏻 Enjoy! 🌞

      2. I kick myself – which is difficult to do with bad knees 😆 for not visiting the Grand Canyon when I lived in Scottsdale. I saw Flagstaff & Sedona a couple of times, visited Meteor Crater, and boated a few lakes, but undoubtedly barely scratched the surface of great sights to see in AZ. TY lovely poetess Michele, you too. 🌞

I thought about adding a guided meditation with these images. Goals! 😁 There is something soothing about nature images set to relaxing music. Next best thing to being there. 🥰 Hope your chill vibe lasts into the evening and beyond. 🧘🏽‍♀️✌🏻💖😘

      1. Michele, on my Fitbit tracker app, there is a feature with different mindfulness sessions that help me to take different intervals of my choice to make me stop what I’m doing and just chill out. They don’t come with the serene scenes like your video, but hey, some ask why, I ask, why not? 🌄🌵🌅 I say go for it girlfriend. What do you have to lose except for relaxation right??? 🤗🛁😊

    1. Thank you, Brad. It is a beautiful destination, and easy enough to get to from Phoenix, thanks to highway improvements over the years. The Tonto natural bridge is actually in the Tonto National Forest region, north of the Sonoran Desert. I do agree with you though, finding creeks in the desert, especially in a canyon area is spectacular! 🏜️

    1. It is! You would love it. There are many places to see and explore around Arizona. I am from here and I haven’t seen them all. 😄 One thing is certain in this lifetime… we will never run out of places to explore and photograph!
