Sharing nature photos makes me as happy as being in nature. OK, not exactly, but I do enjoy it and it is the next best thing when it’s over 110 F. outside. I hope you enjoyed my desert journey from the comforts of a cool location. 🌵☀️🏜️

I would like to give a shout out to blogger, Jessica at Jeweled Again by Jessica. She is a creative artist who makes one-of-kind creations that sparkle and inspire. She has been blogging for a few months. I encourage you to visit her blog and show some support. Early this week I received a very sweet gift from her. I knew it was on its way, because she had reached out to me a few weeks earlier and said she would love to make something for me. I was honored and touched when I received the package, which included a sincere handwritten note. 💝 It arrived at the perfect time, and I now have a lovely addition on my desk. Sometimes sparkly people show up at exactly the right moment. ✨

    1. A love/hate relationship. 😆 I learn from the desert and appreciate her unique beauty and breathtaking sunsets, but summers are brutal! Nice time to get away! I do love nature, wherever I find it and when I am out in it. 💖 Arizona is rich in natural beauty (Grand Canyon, Sedona, the White Mountains, Canyon de Chelly, and many other gorgeous locations). A lovely place to visit during fall, winter, and early spring – depending on how much rainfall, the desert pops with color during the spring. Still prickly though! 🌵 Thanks so much, David. 😊

    1. I wonder how that desert in Spain compares to our region. The state of Nevada is part of the Mojave Desert. Different terrain than the Sonoran Desert. Sounds funny describing a desert, but the Sonoran region is more colorful and vibrant. The Mojave Desert is very windy and more stark. Your thoughts about the desert ring true for me. A place where I go to find myself. I experience the same walking with the tall pines. Each environment exposes a different part of self. Thank you, Ingrid. 🌞

  26. Beautiful pic and amazing gift. I’ve been to Arizona, it sure was hot, and that was in June. I stayed with wonderfully kind and hospitable people. Valley of the Sun, wow!!! What a beautiful place name.
