Get Lost

Three years ago, today, I registered for a WordPress site and a few days later I published my first post. I cannot believe three years have passed since I began my creative blog venture! βœπŸ»πŸ“·πŸ’ƒπŸ»πŸ—£οΈ πŸ₯³ To celebrate my special milestone, several days next week I will be sharing a few favorites from my archives – previously posted pieces with additions and modifications. Before I accomplish that blogging feat (for me) I am going to get lost for a few days. Away from screens. Away from the need to capture beautiful things – I will enjoy them, then leave them be. Away from purpose and direction. Away from short and long-term plans. Away from redundant life-demands. I might spend an hour admiring a flower. I might wiggle my toes in some sand. I might lie in the grass and watch clouds float by, finding funny shapes and stretched faces like I did when I was a child. I might count stars. I will definitely count my blessings. So many unexpected things can happen in the span of a weekend, if one is willing to leave the safety of the shallow and trust the unseen in the deep end. ✨

If I accomplish my celebratory goal next week and keep up with the rest of my life (without losing my mind) I may need to get lost again next weekend! πŸ˜‚ A few extra days of me, may have you wishing the same. 🀣

Next week, I will write this message in more ways than one… Thank you for being here! Be well. πŸ’— Michele
